DOA

DOA plasticizer (Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) Adipate) is a light colored, oily liquid generally used as a plasticizer for PVC. It can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers, such as DOP or DOTP. In PVC. DOA features flexibility at low temperatures, good electrical properties, good resistance to weathering, and good stability to heat. DOA is used to produce clear films for food packaging applications. In addition to PVC, DOA is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, most synthetic rubbers, and high-butyryl cellulose acetate butyrates.

DOP

DOP Plasticizer (Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate) is a light colored, low volatility, odorless liquid. It is the most widely used all-purpose plasticizer for use with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is insoluble in water and has a viscosity of 56 cP at 25°C. DOP features good stability to heat and ultraviolet light, a broad range of compatibility, and excellent resistance to hydrolysis.

168 Plasticizer

168 plasticizer is an excellent non-phthalate plasticizer for PVC, with performance equal or better than most ortho™-phthalate plasticizers. It offers good performance properties, excellent low temperature flexibility, resistance to extraction by soapy water and excellent non-migration properties. In plastisols, 168 non-phthalate plasticizer results in low initial viscosity and excellent keeping viscosity.

425 Plasticizer

425 plasticizer is a higher solvating, general purpose plasticizer for use in flexible PVC. 425 allows fusing the flexible PVC at lower temperatures or in less time. It provides excellent low temperature flexibility, resistance to extraction, and good non-migration properties. It offers excellent physical properties in both flexible PVC compounds and in plastisols.

TOTM

TOTM Plasticizer (Tris (2-Ethylhexyl) Trimellitate) is the ideal PVC plasticizer for use in applications where low volatility is of supreme importance. These applications include wire and cable insulation (TOTM-CA) and interior automotive. TOTM plasticizer has unique low migration properties and extraction resistance properties that are required for dishwasher gaskets and photograph storage. In some cases, TOTM plasticizer is blended with other lower volatility plasticizers such as DUP or DOTP

  • Automotive interior
  • Electrical
  • Plasticizers
  • Vinyl compounding
  • Vinyl products
  • Wire and cable insulation
TXIB

TXIB™ Formulation Additive is the lowest viscosity (9 cps) additive available to the flexible PVC industry. TXIB™ Formulation Additive is completely compatible with PVC in all proportions and is usually blended with general-purpose plasticizers such as DOP or DOTP. The unique low viscosity makes this material particularly suitable for PVC plastisols and often allows adding additional fillers to the plastisol, resulting in a cost savings. TXIB™ Formulation Additive has efficiency generally equal to DOP, which makes substitution in a vinyl formulation very easy. It imparts a dry surface to the vinyl, excellent resistance to staining, and physical properties equivalent to DOP. TXIB™ Formulation Additive is also used in inks, coatings, urethane elastomers, and nail polish lacquers.
Applications/Uses

  • Automotive OEM
  • Coatings for Automotive Plastics
  • Lithographic and letterpress oil-based inks
  • Nail care
  • Phthalate-free diluent for MEKP formulations
  • Plastisols
